Your Consultation: What to Expect

You’re the focus in a personal image consultation. My mission is to create a wardrobe that will be a delight for you to wear and which will have a memorable, positive impact on those you meet.

You may wonder how that works. It’s easy, really. I begin with a basic plan that can be adjusted so it works for you. It starts with the initial consultation.

• Initial Consultation

You are an individual, which is why I want to start by meeting you face to face. I can meet with you via Skype if you’re not able to meet in person. During the initial 20-minute consultation we will discuss what is important to you when it comes to your wardrobe, image, and budget, so I can make a customized plan to suit your needs.

• The Pre-Shop

After meeting with you, I will “pre-shop” for you, selecting stores and specific items that will best suit you. “Pre-shopping” allows me to make the next step of shopping together even more efficient. Your time is precious.

• Shopping Together

When we shop together, I will help you select clothing that will flatter you and meet your goals. My clients often find that I’ve selected styles or colors they love but never would have considered on their own. I will assess the fit and make sure you are pleased with the wardrobe we are putting together. The experience of shopping with a consultant is different from shopping on your own — you have someone on your side who will help with the decision making and you’re not doing it alone. I will make our shopping together both pleasant and productive for you.

• Tailoring

For the best fit, off-the-rack clothing sometimes needs to be tailored to one-of-a-kind you. If adjustments are needed, I will go with you to a tailor to see that your clothes are a perfect fit.
